This amphibious tank is made from stiff, very durable, gray polypropylene plastic with almost no flashing, measures 9.2 x 3.9 x 3.5 inches tall and is 1:32nd scale. The Amphibious Assault Vehicle was designated as LVT-2, which stands for Landing Vehicle Tracked, 2nd version. They were also known as amphtrack, amtrak, amtrac and amtrack. More than 18,000 LVTs were built during the war, and they were used in many of the amphibious landings that were crucial to winning, especially in the Pacific theater.
